After a site visit it can be determined whether a leaded light window needs a full or partial repair. In the case of a full repair, the window is taken away, dismantled, and cleaned. Keeping as much of the original glass and matching broken glass as close as is possible with restoration glass, the window is releaded with new lead cames that match the originals.
Restoring of painted and stained glass includes gentle cleaning of the paint and fixing. If painted glass is broken beyond repair then a replication of the original can be made.
Some repairs can often be made insitu without window removal.
